St Patrick’s Celebration

Meet the Executive – Jodi Barrass
Jodi originally joined the Royal Canadian Legion at the age of eighteen, in Baron Bing, Toronto. She moved to B.C. and joined the Billy Bishop branch in Kitsilano. She left for a while and was busy with life, then rejoined the Maple Ridge branch around five years ago.
Meet the Executive – James McBride
James first joined the Royal Canadian Legion in 1976 in North Vancouver, moved to Port Moody in 1998, and then to Maple Ridge in 2014.
Afghanistan veterans
Canada's longest war and its first significant combat engagement since the Korean War (1950-1953) was in Afghanistan from 2001-20014.
Meet the Executive – Dean McPherson
Dean joined the Royal Canadian Legion in Maple Ridge in 2008. He became the First Vice President in December of last year (2023) and will serve a two year term.
Meet the Executive – Lynda McEwan
Lynda joined the Legion in 1997 and a year later transferred to Br. 88. She volunteered on a couple of Committees before being elected to the Executive in 2004.

Perogies and Cabbage
Last Sunday of the month is coming up fast! Come support the Ladies Auxiliary when they host the kitchen with their world famous cabbage rolls and perogies! KARAOKE from 2-6pm and Meat draws and 50/50 at 4pm and 5pm!

Burns Night – Sold Out!
WOW! We are sold out of the Robbie Burns Supper! Thanks to your support (and your love for Haggis...) we sold out 88 tickets in a week! If you are one of the lucky attendees, please feel free to wear your tartan!

GENERAL MEETINGS ARE USUALLY ON THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 11:00am.
General Meetings are usually on the 3rd Sunday of every month. There are no meetings held in July or August. We encourage all Legion members to attend General Meetings.
NOTE: The date of the next General Meeting is 27 April 2025
